Terryglass.

Up 9:00 ish, lazy start, after a good solid night sleep. Good fry-up for breakfast prepared by Howard and Ronnie. Left mid-day ish.

Good sail around Carrigahorig Bay, with a brief excursion to the northern limit of navigation up the Shannon. Back down the river with some intense tacking against the wind, much to the bemusement of the motor cruiser crowd.

The northern limit of navigation.

Visited Church Island, where there is the remains of an old Chapel (very ruined). Lunch of various cakes. Took a row across the bay and landed at Portumna Forest park with Jules and Dave.

Church Island.

Set sail for Portumna Castle Harbour, docked at about 6:30. Had brilliant, if rather expensive, Chinese meal in Portumna.
