Williamstown.

Up 8:30ish after a good nights sleep, interrupted on two occasions for the need to visit the head, taking note of the rough conditions outside. Engine started fine. We departed for a sail on a fantastic sunny day bound for Terryglass, some 12 miles NE. Wonderful sailing conditions - warm sunny but fairly windy.

Wonderful sailing conditions.

Jules decided to cook some bread as we're running short of provisions. Part was through the second loaf (prepared by Ronnie) the gas gave out - no spare. A quick call to the boat yard on the mobile and it was arranged (after some confusion between 'passing' and 'parked in') that we should phone again nearer Terryglass, and they will bring out a replacement.

Arrived Terryglass at about 1:30. Woman arrived and replaced the gas. Lunch of fresh bread. Had a lazy afternoon. Jules, Dave and Ronnie went for a row. Warm and mainly sunny. In evening went for a fairly good meal in local pub, washed down by two and a half pints of the black stuff.

3 men in a boat.
